Vertical Tilt Units - 90º

Airlift Technology can supply a wide range of Tilt Units to meet even the most unusual requirements and this page sets out a brief description of each type that we build. We find that the most creative and practical way forward is often for customers to share their exact requirements with us and together we invariably find a cost effective solution.

Vertical Tilt Units
These are designed to lift and tilt containers through 90°. Typical applications include:
• Loading / unloading components into / from a container or discharging the contents from a container onto a conveyor or bench.
• Discharging fluid contents from a container into a conveyor bath (eg in the wet foods industry).
A chute with a pneumatically operated seal can also be incorporated to eliminate spillage.
• Positioning bins or containers for easy access to the contents (eg components) without bending or stretching, thus providing maximum operator safety and productivity.

Static Vertical Tilt Units
• Can be provided with fork lift access points for ease of movement.
• Can be fitted with dummy carriage to allow use of handling accessories such as coil boom, fork arms etc.

Mobile Vertical Tilt Units
• Front rollers and rear castors allow units to be moved to the container.
• Floor or wheel lock fitted as standard to prevent accidental movement of unit.
