Standard Airbags

Because Airbags power our range of equipment, we have developed a particular expertise in their construction. All of our single and multistage Airbags are manufactured using state of the art radio frequency [RF] welding techniques under carefully controlled conditions. This allows for greater strength and reliability. The innovative compartmental design allows maximum lift height, excellent stability, always deflates to original shape and has a minimum closed height of just 12mm (½ inch) per convolution.

Manufacturing
We manufacture our airbags using RF welding techniques, our base materials are manufactured from reinforced nylon fibre for greater strength, polyurethane coated for excellent abrasion and chemical resistance, work comfortably in minus 40° and plus 60° each unit is fully tested, then fitted with independent factory set certificated pressure relief valve and other appropriate fittings. CE marked, supplied with a detailed test certificate before leaving the factory.

Airbags single and multi convolution
Typical uses include: Heavy-duty high lifting, lift & tilt to 45º, tipping to 68º, upending rotating 90º, Compressing, pushing, squeezing, clamping, blocking, damping. They are easy to incorporate within mechanical systems and as you can see are used in our own lifting tables and tilt units. Easley interface with PLC.

Single or multi-stage it’s still only one airbag we do not place one on top of another. This is our trade mark.

Airbags more than Lifting bags

The following description includes facility for:
Air in-out, ball valve ¼” bsp female
Pressure sensing – remove 4mm push-in plug
OSJ = with outer slave jacket
Capacity: SWL is given at 100mm lift, unless otherwise stated
All airbag are fitted with factory set tamper proof pressure relief valve
Pilot operated pneumatic valves fill and exhaust available. Fitted on request

The lightweight range can be powered by a Battery Powered Turbo Compressor (fast acting Max 11psi, lightweight 4.8kg with shoulder strap).
For more information regarding the lightweight airbag, please contact us.

Just a small range of single, two & three convolutions airbag from 2t – 70t all with high lift.

No special training required to use Airbags.

Airbags are very easy to use and operate. Naturally, you will need to take into account safety regulations of your workplace, plus be aware of compressed air safety and the hazards of not using it correctly. Other than that it is just a question of applying common sense and general safety awareness and being in control of the lift/tilt/moving operations at all times. Remember always use appropriate props to secure load in the first instance.
